Today's the day that the Board of Supervisors vote on Supervisor Scott Wiener's legislation that would require San Francisco's vibrant nudist community to put some sort of towel down before sitting on public seating and to at least put a banana leaf over their unmentionables if they go into a restaurant. Those of you who are hoping to catch a nudist or two during public comment are going to be disappointed, there's a strict "no nudes" policy at City Hall. Cancel the viewing party. "I sent out a letter with my opinion opposing it, but if it passes, it isn't going to make much of a difference," said George Davis, former mayoral candidate and usually naked person. He said that putting towels down is already part of nudist etiquette. [SF Examiner]
