Seems the ice is thawing on development action in the city. The San Francisco Business Times reports that "four development teams are vying for the right to build 450 units of mixed-income housing near the Transbay Terminal." The winning bidder, whose payments to the city will help fund the Terminal project itself, will build "a 300-foot tower, a 50-foot townhome building, [300 market rate] and 150 affordable family rental units in multiple buildings ranging from 35 feet to 85 feet."
