Over the past two years, over 16,000 BART customers were overcharged for parking in BART parking lots. The vendor that's responsible for the mistake has to dole out over $200,000, and all because of a "software glitch." The glitch incorrectly charged customers for parking during weekends and some holidays- times when parking is supposed to be free. From the Examiner: "The BART customers will be atomically reimbursed for the overbilling through their credit card accounts set up with the agency. If the credit card is no longer active, customers are urged to reach out to Pacific Parking by calling 877-442-6717 or emailing bartrefund@parkingcarma.com. [SF Examiner/photo via potential past]
