Attention: folks who get around town by driving a vehicle. The hourly rates of some meters in the City are about to be raised. Starting at the end of the month, the SFMTA's SFPark program will raise prices at certain meters during certain hours in an effort to reduce traffic congestion. "Rate adjustments such as these will help even out parking demand and reduce double-parking and circling, making or streets less congested and allowing Muni to be more reliable," SFMTA director Ed Reiskin said in a statement.
