Coming Up Short

A whole slew of San Francisco's bridges are in disrepair, giving the city the dishonor of having the worst bridges in country. According to Transportation for America, almost 35% of SF's spans are deficient, including the Lefty O'Doul bridge by AT&T Park, but not including heavy hitters like the Golden Gate or Bay Bridges which are deemed "functionally obsolete." T4A has a nifty interactive map you can play with, showing you just how many scary red death traps you're driving over every day. Fun! [SF Examiner/photo via Erik Wilson]
