Strike Out

Jerry Brown is evidently not too worried about his popularity in Oakland. The Gov's plan to eliminate redevelopment agencies would nix a possible new A's stadium, given that it needed about $100,000,000 for upgrades and land acquisition. Of course, there was still the question of $450,000,000 to build the stadium itself, so maybe the A's moving out was always inevitable. [NBC Bay Area]
