The Palace of Fine Arts lagoon: home to Australian eucalyptus trees, gorgeous Corinthian columns and once again, Blanche the swan. She was being taken care of by the SF Zoo after her sister, Monday, was killed by vandals at the lagoon. While at the SF Zoo, Blanche was introduced to brother-and-sister swans Blue Boy and Bella, who will now join her back at the lagoon. "The return of the swans came a week before the Recreation and Park Department is set to unveil the completed lagoon restoration project, part of a major overhaul of the Palace of Fine Arts, which was built for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition."
