San Francisco won't be able to lodge everybody but, instead of building hotels, we could get some temporary floating hotels in the form of cruise ships. Very much in the spirit of "all boats rise with the tide" Alameda boosters are looking for ways to attach themselves, lamprey-like, to the America's Cup.
