Should San Francisco nannies receive special residential parking permits for neighborhoods that they work in? Roxanne Stachon thinks so. Stachon is a mother of two, and she employs a nanny to take care of them during the day at her Russian Hill home. Her nanny has to leave the children unattended several times a day while she searches for a new parking spot. The SFMTA has taken notice, and is now considering issuing a new class of annual street parking permits available exclusively to childcare providers. [Washington Post]
