Don't Hold Your Breath

We have the cash in the bank? When you file for a property tax refund in San Francisco, the Comptroller's Office sets aside the maximum amount you're estimated to get, but there are three additional bureaucracies to get through before the check gets issued- the Assessor-Recorder, the Assessment Appeals Board, and the Property Tax Collector.
