Just when you thought Muni workers were going to have to pay for parking like the rest of us, the proposal got yanked before it could be voted on. Muni employees have been seen their perks disappearing like, well, Muni lines, but they'll still get to park like rock stars on the taxpayer dime, for now. The proposal could be resurrected within the next few weeks, or never at all, meaning the agency may never see the $500,000 that paid parking would have brought in by June 30. [SF Gate]
