Something New in the Mission

New, 8 comments
It's the new year, so don't you deserve something new? This 3-bed, 2.5 bath condo at 1495 Valencia is brand-spanking new (well, 2009), meaning no creepy Victorian ghosts or dead cat odor. On top of that, it's actually really-nicely finished, with a swanky-looking kitchen and bathrooms you wouldn't want to update immediately. We're not so sure about the Juliet balcony, but it looks to have views and give the place good light, not to mention the fresh air. The bedrooms look pretty small and there's not a closet to be seen, so we're left to wonder what they did with all 1,328 square feet. At $632 per square foot, that's quite a bit higher than the rest of the neighborhood, but the newness and finishes may justify a premium. Then again, you're half a block from Cesar Chavez street, which depending on your commute or passion for traffic calming may be a good thing. At least the HOA fees of $455 per month include two garage parking spaces. What do you think, dear readers? Will this unit finally sell for $839,000?
