After 91 days on the market, this pocket-sized 1-bed, 1-bath condo in the Western Addition received yet another chop on Wednesday, bringing its asking price down to $319,000. This short sale is done at a loss; the owners bought it back in 2003 for $335,000. While we're puzzled at the closet which has been turned into a desk (turns working from home into something almost worse than working from work) there are several intriguing things to think about. Did we mention that it's not a TIC? With monthly HOA dues at $435, you would probably pay less than $2,000 a month for a place with 1890 Victorian cred. For those of you who like food, music and/or fun, it's just a stumble across Kimbell Playground for KFC or Fat Angel and three blocks from the Fillmore. Then again, you're on the ground floor in a Victorian with KFC a block away --- you might want to meet the upstairs neighbors first.
