We'd never heard of nor seen a homeowner being inspired by Pepto-Bismol, but then we found 595 Girard, the 3-bed, 2.5-bath home up for sale in Portola for $689,000. At first we thought the pink on the ceiling must somehow be a reflection of the carpet (strange lighting, perhaps), but upon closer inspection we realized that no, the ceiling is actually pink as well. Goodness, folks! Going to the extreme is never a good idea, especially when considering your property's resale value.
