Decor Aside, this Nob Hill Home is a Winner

This 3-bed, 2-bath, 2,566 square foot Edwardian was built in 1907 by Captain H. Mottet. The home is located at the former carriage house entrance of the Mark Hopkins Mansion. And now it's back on the market with an asking price of $2,395,000! Expensive, but worth it. Let's be frank: this house is absolutely breathtaking and a truly unique property. Try to avoid looking at the window treatments, the heavy draping over nearly every flat surface, and the kitchen lighting, and focus on the architectural details and that this house a piece of San Francisco's history. And how about that wooden bathroom? We're seriously swooning. Unfortunately there are no pics of the wine cave and "impeccable garage," but we can imagine they live up to their adjectives. Oh, and there's also a greenhouse.
