Ah, yes. The famed Yerba Buena Lofts. They were designed by Natoma Architects with the help of OMG architect Stanley Saitowitz! He's famous, you know. A 1-bed, 1.5-bath, 1,050 square foot loft within the building has just hit the market with an asking price of $675,000, which is $30,000 more than what the current owner paid in 2004. And, get this, it sold in 2002 for $435,000. Remember that, folks? When you could flip a condo in two years and make $210,000? Anywoo, the listing says that the carpet and paint have been "HIGHLY upgraded," which we don't really understand, but whatever. What we wish was "HIGHLY upgraded" was the kitchen, which is rather drab looking. Aside from that this is a pretty decent loft in an award-winning building. For your monthly HOA dues of $454.13 you get 24-hour security, concierge service, dry cleaning, and indoor parking!
