"I've lived here my whole life and I never expected to get a ticket on my bike" To which one might respond "grow up". Cyclists complain about the SFPD "selective enforcement" of traffic laws, ignoring the fact that any enforcement of anything is selective. Complain all you want about drivers running stop signs, they tend to not do it in front of police officers. [Streetsblog]
