In Bayview, Bank-Owned and Half-Price

New, 4 comments

We liked this house three years ago. We still like it, even more now that it's priced at $329,900. Designed in 1942 by architect John Righetti for himself and family, 1650 La Salle Avenue is a sweet two-bedroom/two bath split-level, a rarity in San Francisco. It's a half-block from the T-Third Street and two blocks more to Flora Grubb Gardens But more recently, a sad story. The house was listed in early February 2007 for $698 and closed six weeks later for $750K. Currently, empty and bank-owned.
