File under great moments in online publishing: San Francisco delivers an illustrated PDF version of the new landscaping code. The Guide to the San Francisco Green Landscaping Ordinance: Amendments to San Francisco’s municipal codes is a magisterial work, and with sections like 1.0 Greening of Front Setback Areas and 6.0 Permeable Surfaces it's destined to become a Kama Sutra for planning and horticulture geeks around town for years to come.

And seriously, the Planning Department site gives us an easy access point for all sorts of regulatory stuff, like the Variance Calendar and the Historic Preservation Commission's Calendar and Agenda, which tells us that tomorrow may be your last chance to save the epochal KFC building on Valencia currently occupied by Spork. Good times!
