1-Bed in an 1890s-ish Panhandle Victorian by Joseph Newsom

New, 2 comments

Designed by Joseph Newsom, architect of fashionable Victorians, the "Morgan House" on the Panhandle has a 1-bed, 1-bath apartment available for rent. The building, according to the Craigslist ad, is a historically registered property in San Francisco, and was built around 1890 originally as a single-family home, converted to multiple units after the 1906 earthquake. The restored "vintage" apartment has period wallpaper — minimally grimy in photos! — ornate frieze, relief wainscoting throughout, and original antique light fixtures. Also: on-site laundry! Rent is $1,750 a month.
