USA Today's Green House blog has awarded their weekly eco-prize to 2342 Broadway, the five-story Pac Heights "sultan's mansion" we profiled back in December. Normally they prefer to anoint smaller homes, but "old is the new green," as they say, and this was a restoration of an old building. According to Green House, developer Gregory Malin says "the eco-makeover was also a selling point, because if people have the money, they want to breathe fresh air and lower their carbon footprint."
