The Peninsula Cities Consortium, comprising Menlo Park, Burlingame, Belmont, Palo Alto and Atherton, has decided maybe that high-speed rail isn't the end of all things holy — and has decided unanimously that it wouldn't seek a repeal of the $10 billion bond measure voters passed in '08. Still, they did so saying that the consortium isn't the "correct forum to take up the repeal," which kind of sounds like they might still be interested in a go at it, somewhere, somehow.
