Plasma Screens Help You Bring Your Own View in Windowless Rooms

New, 3 comments

Wired's Gadget Lab jokes of outfitting a windowless room with these homebrew plasma TV "windows," but seriously — the new view possibilities are endless! Forget Golden Gate Bridge and jellyfish tank, how about zombie apocalypse or dinotopia? Or, to be more locally attuned: Bay Bridge backup, or Dolores Park sunbathers. The setup uses two flat-screen TVs, a Mac running special software, a Wii remote, a human baby, and an infrared necklace the size of an intercom panel. OK, maybe not the baby part.
