Both sides of the debate on the Redwood City Saltworks megaproject are recruiting: former San Francisco mayor Art Agnos says he was approached nearly simultaneously by enviro group Save the Bay through former supes prez Aaron Peskin, and by the developer, DMB Associates. Agnos did a little digging, and concludes the 12,000-unit project would be "the most sustainable development in the history of the state, and perhaps the country." Bold words!
