Time was in the less burned-down days of the Sutro Baths that one could ride a train along the Sea Cliff, and as the Richmond SF Blog points out today, also a "Sky Tram." A set of photos and postcards from the Western Neighborhoods Project depicts the aerial tramways, which connected a point just below the Cliff House to a lookout with two fake waterfalls. Alas, the Sky Tram was axed in 1961 due to "fog, wind, and perhaps general boredom."
