If Menlo Park's lawsuit against the high-speed rail folks wasn't enough to show that they really hate the project — as it is, anyway — maybe an exchange from a meeting over a week ago is: "I get the feeling that this is just a charade to get cover for a resolution that has already been made," says a man who gets backed by applause.
