New, 3 comments

Clear Channel Outdoor pulled out of their end of a pilot bike-sharing program, provoking fire-breathing Gavin a bit — but the 2,750-bike experiment could still get rolling if it snags $4 million in federal grant money (in which case it'd start with 1,000 bikes). According to an SFMTA study, the program could sell between a million to 5 million daily passes a year. More tourists with loaner bikes and wiggle maps, less yellow GoCars? [SF Examiner, previously]
