Corona Heights House Finds a Buyer After Preservation Battle

New, 1 comment

Boy, this one went quickly: on the market for seven days, 70 Douglass in Corona Heights is our second Group 41 design in as many days, and is already set to close. Back in 2006, the address was actually subject of a preservation effort to keep the lot from being subdivided into two parcels (at the time, it was just one, spanning between Ord and Douglass). Obviously, if the brand new 3-bed, 2.5-bath house is any indication, that effort didn't succeed. The result is a "sophisticated and pristine" house that captures "fresh trends in modern design." Going price: $1,650,000.
