The variably priced parking meters of SFpark are spreading beyond their Embarcadero "pre-pilot" phase and heading into a number of pilot neighborhoods around the city — one of them being the Fillmore. The New Fillmore reports the newfangled devices should be up and running in the spring, magically alerting drivers to open parking spots — a development that's apparently way better than rumors of a Brad Pitt movie being filmed along the corridor. Hayes Valley, the Mission, and Fisherman's Wharf are among other neighborhoods getting the new sensors and pay stations. [New Fillmore]
