Today at 5p.m. the mid-Market area will get a burst of light. There's a lighting ceremony for the Lights on Market Street installation, which will launch The ARTery Project, a San Francisco Arts Commission and National Endowment for the Arts initiative aimed at helping revitalize the mid-Market area that's plagued with vacant storefronts.
