2001 McAllister #135 has just hit the market with an asking price of $499,000, which means it's the newest addition to our Under 500K Club. The unit is a 1-bed, 1-bath, 605 square foot apartment within a complex of condos that take over an entire city block (Masonic to Central, McAllister to Fulton). If our frazzled brain can do the math correctly, that means this unit is $825 a square foot. Seems a little high, no? You do get to say you live in NoPa. Unit highlights include brand new hardwood flooring, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and the living room and dining area opens to a private patio. You also get 1-car parking, but it's detached. And your monthly HOA dues are $435. With that out of the way, you can't really beat the location. Especially that the building is kitty-corner Ulrich Field and Benedetti Diamond, where you might have to worry about fly balls hitting your car (we've seen it happen). The last time this unit sold was back in early February for the small sum of $495,000. The current owners are really only looking to make a couple thousand on this place.
