Faux Sure in the North Waterfront

New, 2 comments
This short sale in Parc Telegraph has faux finishes galore. People who are into that, who we'll refer to as "blind", can get this 2-bed, 2-bath for $868,000. Really, we wonder about those columns and whether they are load-bearing, and all the faux-finish walls, and what they are supposed to look like. Supposedly there are views of the Bay and Treasure Island, but on the sixth floor it looks like you would just see right into the neighboring building. After a quick paint job to make this less hurtful to the eyes, we're still not convinced this is a great deal. The kitchen, while tasteful, looks cramped, and at $630 per square foot, it's merely average for the neighborhood. You'll pay $709 in HOA per month, which graciously covers parking, and community features like a gym and sauna. What do you think, dear readers? What's the paint allowance you would need to call this place home?
