One men tells us why he's moving his family out of SF and into Berkeley. He and his wife are expecting a second child in mid-January, and decided it was time to find a bigger place. All the houses/condos/rentals were either "too small, or the floorplans were loosely based on "James and the Giant Peach," or one of the bedrooms would require you to go out into an alleyway and wrestle a dwarf for entrance." In his post about why he decided to settle in Berkeley, he talks about different SF neighborhoods and what he encountered. But in short, he picked Berkeley because he scored a 3-bedroom house with a yard. [BuboBlog]
