The proposed Emeryville Center for the Arts has selected Jensen Architects of San Francisco after a design competition among six Bay Area firms. The center will be in a one-story brick industrial building at 40th and Hollis streets. The Jensen Architects plan includes an open-air terrace flanked by a three-story glass cube. They're hoping for the center to open the new $12M complex in 2012. [SF Gate]
