- Unit #301 is a 1-bed, 1-bath, presumably on the third floor of the eight-story building. We're calling bulls**t on this being a true 1-bed though, since it looks like the wall of frosted glass doesn't go all the way to the wall. No door = junior one bedroom. Prove us wrong! $549,000 in downtown may not buy you a door, but it does get your some high-end finishes like a rain shower system, Italian cabinetry, and floor-to-ceiling bay windows. HOA come in at $376 a month, which covers a roof deck if you want to get that rain shower on the natural way.
- Unit #302 is a 2-bed, 1-bath for $629,000. Inquiring minds needs to know: is the second bedroom really the frosted glass-enclosed entity in the middle of the living room? Well, bulls**t again! There's no closet in there, and it looks as though you rented out space in your condo to a startup with a catchy name like Snafuzzle or Bloopity or Wuphf. It's got the same lovely looking kitchen and bath as #301, but still no word on parking.
Really, we like a lot about these condos -- location, finishes, space, roof deck -- but we can't reconcile this with the feeling we're being a little bit tricked by the specs here. What do you think, dear readers? Is all that gloss enough to overlook overstatements? Or should those in glass bedrooms not throw stones?
