No Round Edges Allowed in Noe Valley

This ultra-modern (but not annoyingly so) 4-bed, 3.5-bath in Noe Valley recently got a price chop after barely a month on the market to $2,675,000. While the original structure was built in 1911, it got an update in the last year, with additions to the top and back. From the wood-inlay front door all the way to the tranquility garden (i.e.: backyard), there are boxes and boxes of pointy touches. There are several places for enjoying sunny Noe weather, and even a NanaWall if you're feeling too content to venture outside. $793 per square foot is actually dramatically lower than the neighborhood average of $1,010, but the overall price tag still feels heart-wrenchingly steep. We do think it's lovely, but you have to wonder how much of this will look dated in just a few short years. What do you think, dear readers? Are monochromatic tile mosaics here to stay? Or will they be so "late aughts"?
