$659,000 and Next to the Freeway

New, 11 comments
Built in 1900, this 2-bed, 1-bath, 1,125 square foot home in Bernal Heights just hit the market with an incredibly reasonable asking price of $659,000. Before you leave an anonymous comment complaining about how it's "probably the noisiest street in SF" because it's a mere half block from the freeway, please take a look at the map and note the abundance of tall trees that separate the end of the street from the freeway. They're extremely helpful in filtering the noise. Once inside the home you're greeted by airy and bright living and dining rooms. The master bedroom has tall windows and an entire wall of storage. The only real downfall to this home is the horrendous bathroom tile. Thankfully it's only on one wall. You also get a pretty sweet backyard and a garage with two spaces. Invite us over for dinner, will you?
