Question to the poor souls who have to pay $6 a morning to commute via vehicle from the east bay to work in the city every weekday: do you know where your money goes? At least a pinch of it is helping fund the new Bay Bridge toll plaza headquarters, which is costing an estimated $30 million. It's slated to receive the USGBC's Silver standard and be way more aesthetically pleasing than the current dump (that's next to the toll plaza). The project will be completed in 2012. [NBC Bay Area]
