That Richard Neutra duplex we posted on Monday's still making the rounds, and this artifact of "the LA architect" has gotten a few interesting comments. First, from Curbed LA, known hotspot of all Neutra-related phenomenon: "Maybe hard to tell it's a Neutra at all." And then commenter Third Uncle, who — after giving us a big spanking — says architect Chad Overway's restoration more "ruined (the house) on the inside." Rocco responds: "One cannot escape one's time- no matter how 'authentic', restorations are always contemporary." And, as per glitzy bernini: "the neighbors hate this house. As per the general cluelessness about modernism in the Bay Area." Heartbreak. [Richard Neutra-Designed Duplex in the Marina for $3.95 Mil]
