The Burj Dubai, otherwise known as the world's tallest tower of the moment, officially opens today. The 160-plus-story skystabber is a residential/hotel/office combo, and its Armani-designed residences have already been 90 percent sold (with a first ever "Armani Hotel" on its way too). Good news for an otherwise bleak landscape, ultrameltdown in real estate and all. At the height of the market, WSJ reports, one-bedrooms were commanding $2,776 a square foot. Fantastic.
