CitiApartments Deathwatch

New, 6 comments

Recent court filings show that "dozens more" properties owned by Lembi Group, parent of CitiApartments, are in trouble following failure to make a $90 million payment to Bank of America. We're starting to lose track here: 51 properties lost in January to UBS, and another 24 lost to CIM in June. As the Chron says, the much beleaguered company is "disappearing beneath waves of debt." We didn't realize they hadn't already disappeared. [SF Gate, previously]
