Rumblings & Bumblings: Quake Cottage, SoMa Project, and RadioShack

GLEN PARK: Is 533 Laidley, a "possible historic resource," being demolished tomorrow? The 1906 earthquake cottage (like this one) was listed in July for $499,000, but records show the "not salvageable and unsafe" property finally went after a massive price chop to $300,000 on Aug. 25. If the tiny house goes, we're going to get a nice case of deja vu. [TwitterWire]

SOMA: According to a reader, a 150-unit or so affordable housing project is in the Tenderloin Neighborhood Development Corp's pipeline, headed for 5th and Tehama. They're likely eyeing the parking lot kitty corner from the Intercontinental, and immediately north of AGI Capital's 450-unit project. Groundbreaking in two to three years, if everything pans out. MID-MARKET: RadioShack's opening another store on Market Street, just three blocks down from an existing one— or are they just moving their existing store? According to their press release, this one warrants a big grand opening too. So ... RadioShack. This is the state of Mid-Market, eh? [SF Appeal]
