The San Francisco House

New, 3 comments

The Front Steps has knighted an architect with blogger credentials, and in his first post, he calls a truce between the various schools of architectural thought in San Francisco. Nevermind the "historical and stylistic"— there are certain things that make any house here look like a San Francisco house. And those things, he explains with a little more elaboration, are 25-by-100-foot lots, setbacks, bay windows, cornices, and our very temperate environment. Controversy: averted. [tFS]
