Earlier this year, hopes for a jazz center at the former Muni substation at Fillmore and Turk had ended. Instead, the San Francisco Redevelopment Agency had decided to turn the building back over to the city. To what end is not clear, as the building comes with a number of development strings attached, and must also be retrofitted up the wazoo to be useable.
