When we last checked in with 200 Brannan St, a contemporary condo building built in 2004, we looked at a 976-square-foot unit that felt claustrophobic, if totally respectable. Today, for about $200K more, at $898,000, there's a 2-bed, 2-bath, 1,525 square footer with a decidedly less claustrophobic feel. Yet, there's still some of that socially elevating, "loft-like" feeling. Nevermind, then, that the second level is actually a full second level? Homeowners dues are a pretty hefty $647 a month, and amenities include a club room, gym, and a courtyard that vaguely resembles an office park.
