Lawsuit notwithstanding, the High Speed Rail Authority maintains they're still good to go on the LA-SF fast train, funding and all. Our armchair legal analysts agree, so it must be true. The judge, says a Streetsblog report today, handed Menlo Park's and Atherton's asses back to them on pretty much all the issues they sued over, only bringing up the problematic San Jose-Gilroy right of way and train vibrations as sticking points. The Authority, for their part, says they were already dealing with the right-of-way issue, so nothing's changed. All's well, then, on our slow train to Fast Train Ville? [Streetsblog]
