PriceChopper: The Marquee Can't Catch a Break

Was: $1,800,000
Then: $1,680,000
Then: $1,575,000
Now: $1,475,000
You Save: $325,000
The poor, butchered case of the Marquee condos. This 2-bed, 2.5-bath, 2,300 square foot "NY style luxury" loft has been on the market for nearly 5 months, taking chop after chop in hopes of a buyer. Today it took another chop, bringing it down to $1,475,000. This particular unit was actually two units, but the owner decided to combine them into one big fancy condo. In addition to the hefty price tag, you also have to pay $1,515.62 in monthly HOA fees. That fee goes towards building management, security, insurance, etc. The Marquee doesn't have a pool, concierge (thankfully), or yoga studio, so we're kind of wondering why the fee is so high. The sale of the condo also includes two parking spaces.
