The week got off to a rough start for San Francisco water; but repairs on the busted main on Van Ness are proceeding fairly quickly (you can follow their progress on Twitter, of course) and everything should be back to normal soon.
Elsewhere in the city: monitoring devices (part of the "SCATA" system) will be installed near Washington & Clay, enabling better automation of resources. Construction on Webster between Pacific Ave and Broadway winds down with driveway repavement on Wednesday. A water main at Van Ness and Broadway/Octavia is getting tested next Monday and Tuesday; and nearby, a sewer main, side sewer, and service lines are getting serviced. Look out for potholes from Pacific & Fillmore to Scott & Clay, where there will be ongoing chlorination work. And there'll be some new potholes on Sanchez from Market to Duboce, where they're mapping out an alignment for a new water main.
