A "retention specialist" let slip that AT&T expects more cellular hubs to go live later this month: one at 4th and Howard that broke down awhile back, and a brand new one at 5th and Shipley. That's a small consolation to all of the exasperated iPhone users in the Haight, or in the Castro, or in parts of the Presidio, where you can't connect to AT&T's tin-can signal worth a damn. We've had our calls dropped many a time by AT&T -- that early termination fee isn't looking so bad. [Eric Cheng]
