Civic Center Transient Turns up in North Bay

The guy from EPA and Around the Bay discovered a weird squiggly thing at an abandoned school in San Rafael. After a little digging, its backstory was revealed: unveiled in 1978 in SF's Civic Center, the sculpture was carted (somehow!) over the Golden Gate Bridge in 1983, and now it's slowly aging in a field. The artist is trying to get it moved down to Sonoma State -- good luck getting it to budge. [EPA and Around the Bay]
